These terms govern your use of RTFtoPDFonline (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Service.

What the Service is

RTFtoPDFonline converts RTF files to PDF files entirely within your web browser. There is no account system, no server-side processing of your documents, and no fee to use it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Convert content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer the Service for the purpose of building a competing tool using our code without permission
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

Your files and content

You retain all rights to any document you convert. Because conversion happens locally in your browser, we never receive, store, or have access to your files — so we make no claim to them and have no ability to hand them over to anyone, because we never had them in the first place.

Intellectual property

The RTFtoPDFonline name, design, and underlying code (excluding open-source components it depends on, which remain under their own licenses) belong to their respective owners. You're welcome to use the Service for personal or business purposes, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service itself without permission.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that every RTF file will convert perfectly, that formatting will be preserved pixel-for-pixel, or that the Service will be available without interruption or error. RTF is a broad, older format, and our parser targets the common subset produced by mainstream word processors rather than the entire specification.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTFtoPDFonline and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including damages related to lost data, lost time, or conversion errors. Because the Service is free and processes files only on your own device, you remain responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important.

Third-party components

The Service is built using open-source software, including jsPDF for PDF generation. These components are used under their respective open-source licenses.

Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update the Service or these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
